Defining the (Electric) eCigarette, also Known as an Electronic Cigarettes

The Way an Electronic Cigarette Works
 
The way the electronic cigarette works is a simple break down of three basic elements that consists of the battery, the atomizer, and a cartridge filled with the oil that is used to produce the vapor or "smoke".  When inhaling, a device is switched on which sends a signal to a heating element called the "atomizer" which is located inside of the unit. The e-cig atomizer heats up instantly and vaporizes the liquid nicotine oil (which is located inside the refill cartridge) into a water based vapor that replicates the look and feel of smoke. This smokeless vapor has a taste, smell, sensation, and look of real smoke but without inhaling real tobacco smoke which contains harmful chemicals and also doesn't produce irritating first hand or second hand smoke that may be bothersome to those around you.  Also, to simulate the visual effect of smoking a real cigarette, the tip of the battery lights up with an red glow to simulate the burning of a real cigarette.
